Writing on the document reads: 'Honorable Discharge from the Civilian Conservation Corps. To all whom it may concern: This is to certify that*John B. Pollauf, CC5-276354 a member of the Civilian Conservation Corps, who was enrolled October 14, 1938 at Bellefontaine, Ohio, is hereby honorably discharged therefrom, by the reason of** Convenience of the Government prior to E.T.E. expiration of term of enrollment, declined to reenroll Said John B. Pollauf was born in Toledo in the State of Ohio. When enrolled he was seventeen years of age and by occupation a laborer. He had brown eyes, brown hair, dark complexion, and was five feet nine inches in height. His color was white. Given under my hand at Ft. Benj.
