Description:
The old business district of the town of Arlington, Oregon, still remains intact, but time is fast running out. The overpass bridge of Interstate Highway 80N is scheduled for completion by the end of the year. By that time the Walla Walla district, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will have underway the demolishing phase of the project. The present Arlington business district will be transferred to the new site above the pool level of John Day Dam, scheduled for raising in 1968.
