Dear Father & Mother,

I am well tuf as a buck & I hope thes fue lines will find you all well. I wrote a letter day before yester day & last night I got towo letters one from you & one from Clarrisa I was glad to here from you & that you was well. I heve gest got my tent fixt up & we live quite handy we heve hed a hard March but I Come out keen as a brier but Some of our boys give out Sick & died.

Mother the letter I got from dated febuary the .9 & the one I got from Clarsy dated January the 16. I hope Marih will git tuf & tel Am. to that that I See the giting Marrid to Sothern gall

Mother you wrote that Jemes preston was going to Menisota to by a farm & that he wanted you to Sell out and go to. Father you Can Sell the place & go I think it is a good Contery go out thare & by land anuf for us both thare lots of praie land & you want to by nere Some timber if you Can by Cheap by about 3 hundred acers. I want one hundred & fifty acers will make me a good farme. but be Shure to by the land nere the timber & a bout one hundred acers of timber & by nere uncle Jemes. I hed Jest as lives you wood go as not for I want to git out of that water hole/black bird hole. & then the nighbors. It may be late to go now but I gess not if James gone you Can go gest as well all you want the Courgage to go. now Father Sell the land & the Sheep. put Rite to do it as Soon as you git this. now do for we will have better helth good big Rich land & we Can farme it better keep more Cattle & with less work. now git up and make a triel you Can go by the land Moove Rite a long at at the Same time I Can be Sent thare when my time is out gest as well as to go home. Now go with out fale & Settle in a good place & we will live thar & git Rich but be dam if you Can thare on that Swamp hole. thare is a good meney going in to the western States to by land when this ware is over they will all be Settled
