A newspaper article discussing: Rep. Steve Symms, R-Idaho, suggested limiting wilderness areas in Idaho to 3.5 million acres and making sure the state gets compensation. He disagreed with the SALT II and Panama Canal treaties and didn't trust the Soviet Union on agreements.
