- A newspaper article discussing: Alex D. Creek, a member of the Division of Economic and Community Services Advisory Board, concluded that some elected officials in Idaho, especially legislators, are discouraging outside businesses from moving to Idaho. This conclusion was reached via a study conducted by Marcept Consulting and Research Corp., who are located in Boise, ID. Mr. Creek explained to legislators that the legislature cut all funds relating to advertising while similar states were spending hundreds of thousands of dollars a year attempting to bring business into their states.
