Postcard of the burial place of Old Chief Joseph. | On Lake Wallowa. The old Indian chief was reburied here in the 1920's from a hidden grave in lower Wallowa Valley. The white marker is of the early pioneer F.D. McCulley, staunch friend of the chief.
