A wide-open farmland scene with two cows grazing in the foreground. Charles Anselmo, the first Italian to arrive at Priest River (with Mike Presta) settled on a ranch east of town that is now known as the Kaniksu Stock Ranch and is still owned and operated by Anselmos. This Picture, made from a 1930 calendar, shows the ranch before its big red barn and the current buildings were constructed.
