Pictures, taken Wednesday of this week, show the "home" surroundings for a group of prisoners of war on the peninsula road 11 miles north of Priest river. At the time the pictures were snapped, there were but two men in camp, one a ship's captain, friendly and appreciative, and a fluent speaker of English. The others, he explained to the photographer, were away at work for the day, building trails and roads."
