- During the winter of 1928-29 Peterson hauled logs for the Humbird Lumber Co. on Gleason Meadow Cutoff Road. He died in 1971, was father of Leona and Daunice Baker, Shirley Wylie, Karen Brooks and Duane Peterson, all of Priest River and Darlene Dionne, Hayden.
