- A photograph of 4-4-0 Number 3, lettered for the predecessor Nez Perce and Idaho Railroad, poses with engineer Sam Stenseon and fireman Alva Senters in the summer of 1925. Long an institution on this Idaho common carrier, the Number 3 would work at Nez Perce for another 25 years before a deserved retirement would come. Photographed by Ray Thomas and collected by Ken Brovald.
