It has been very cold since yesterday due to the cloudy weather and rain on top of it. Coupon book was distributed in the morning in alphabetical order. It is only three dollars or so and does not buy a lot, but it helps. I cracked my tooth crown while I was having dinner. It will split if I keep eating with it. This is the third time since I was sent to Missoula. I decided to ask Dr. Koyama to negotiate with the administration to see if I can get any treatment. Fortunately I bought cookies in the morning and can eat them instead of meals.
Someone who is seemingly an inspector came over, but we later found out that that was an officer from the administration for pre-inspection.
Three Buddhist priests and a doctor gave a presentation about their experience to witness the Hawaii bombing in the 5th barrack.

It was so encouraging, and I felt as if I had seen the brave and tactful actions by the Japanese navy in front of me. I heard about their war experience from the ones from Hawaii when I was in Fort Sill, but it was second-hand as they are all from other islands. The presentation tonight was done by first hand witnesses, and I felt jolted all over my body. Someone among them (Dr. Takahashi) was watching what was taking place on his veranda with a pair of binoculars from a bit after eight in the morning to around four in the afternoon. I believe it is easy to imagine what he was reporting. Squall hit us after the presentation, and it felt so refreshing.
