Mr. Sakimura is pandering to the military and not giving any consideration to any of his fellow citizens. It is unbearable and simply nauseating for us. He was recruiting labor volunteers this morning and telling us that we could earn money for beer, and I do not know what to say.

Such behavior should be despised as a squad leader. Physical labor volunteers demanded this morning is what we should reject. There is no one who would volunteer to render labor to make money here. Mr. Sakimura sounds excited and is telling us there are positions such as inspection, cleaning and bringing out beddings on Fridays. He is just like a flattering servant and encourages others to join him. He is just wearing Japanese skin. Mr. Kameichi Komachi was hospitalized today as his x-ray test result required.
