I have my belongings inspected and sent away. Mr. Tanbara, Mr. Takahashi and Mr. Kiso took over all the packing and delivering for me despite the rain.
Various rumors about the transfer flew all over the place as always, and it is rather funny. Rumors for internees are indispensable like rice for Japanese meals and bread for western style meals.

We might necessarily not eat it but miss it if it is not served.
I received a letter from Ms. Masako Onishi, and it sounds like she found out that I was discharged from the hospital by my letter to Mrs. Kiso. She wrote that Hiromura asks how I am doing every time she sees him, but all she can say is she has not heard from me. She asked me to write to her if my physical conditions permit. I am planning to write to people I know after I get settled down in Santa Fe.
