Learn more about the people, places, history, faith and cultures of Muslims in the United States and around the world through a program jointly sponsored by the University of Idaho Library and the University of Idaho Muslim Student Association. This program will feature a moderated student panel sharing the diversity of experience among Muslim students at UI and reflecting themes highlighted in the books and films featured in "Points of View".

The Bridging Cultures Bookshelf: Muslim Journeys is a project of the National Endowment for the Humanities, conducted in cooperation with the American Library Association. Major support for the Muslim Journeys Bookshelf was provided by a grant from Carnegie Corporation of New York. Additional support for the arts and media components was provided by the Doris Duke Foundation for Islamic Art. Local support is provided by The University of Idaho Library.



The Collection

The Muslim Journeys Bookshelf is a collection of 25 books and 3 films that highlight the themes of the Bridging Cultures project. Please enjoy surveying the collection materials. All are available in the University of Idaho Library.
