Description:
Clarence Sutliff standing, arms extended to the sides, in front of a 7-foot grizzly hide. Bear was one of two large grizzlies Sutliff, Roger Billings and Neil Meyer shot at Hughes Meadows. This photograph appeared in the February 1933 edition of Outdoor Life. Picture donated by Billings' daughter. Back of picture is inscribed: "Clarence Sutliff with the first grizzley--hide 7ft. from tail tip to muzzle."
