- Old brick school building on the hill, demolished in the 1970's, was copied at the University of Idaho from a 1931 calendar. Label near bottom reads: "Priest River public schools building. The Grade, Junior High, and High Schools are housed in this modern brick building. There are fourteen teachers on the staff and the school is rated among the best in North Idaho."
