Original Description:
Picture made from Naida Miller's 1930 calendar by the U. of I. Photo Lab. Cutline under pix read "A log jam at the mouth of Priest River where the loads are held and sorted for the various mills. This jam is approx. 1 mile in length, a part of which is within the limits of Priest River. A new steel bridge on the state highway now under construction will be located at this point." Steel bridge built in 1927. Other data on calendar stated that Priest River had 6 lumbering and cedar products companies and that 1 company treated and shipped 500 carloads of cedar products annually.
