I have been doing as much exercise as I can do these days. I encountered the K.P. (Kitchen Police) in our Unit 6 today and ended up laboring in the mess hall. I was exhausted from the physical labor after a long absence and ended up taking a nap for about two hours in the afternoon. I am planning to just leave when I feel tired but ended up working all day today. My arms and legs feel stiff, and I am so tired. I assume I will get gradually used to it.
Mr. Shunji Sasaki hosted a feast in the evening. Beer and soda was served, and Mr. Sakimura opened two cans of cooked eels he was saving. Left-over cheese and pie from the kitchen were also served at the table. I had not seen foo young for a while. I just had a bit of cheese and did not touch anything else, but it was a fun gathering I had not had for a while. Mr. Sasaki told us that he is hosting it because he had collected enough coupons.
