In 2024, the U of I Library entered into a Publish and Read agreement with The Microbiology Society.

Benefits for U of I affiliates:

• Unlimited access to the complete contents of the Microbiology Society’s archive back to 1947.
• Free and unlimited open access publishing for authors in Microbiology Society titles where the corresponding author is from the University of Idaho.

Requirements:

• To qualify for free open access publishing under our Read and Publish agreement with the Microbiology Society, a U of I author must be listed as the corresponding author and they must use their U of I email address (“@uidaho.edu”) throughout the entire submission process.
