Newspapers

The University of Idaho Library has a large collection of digital and print newspapers to use.

In partnership with ASUI, the UI Library also offers all UI students, faculty, and staff free online access to the New York Times.

If you are accessing databases off-campus, you will be asked to log-in with the University of Idaho NetID and password.

To find a specific newspaper:

  • Visit the Library Catalog
  • Type the newspaper title into the search bar.
  • On the left side of the search results screen, limit Resource Type to Journals.
  • Then, limit Genre Type to Newspapers.

If the newspaper title doesn't appear in your search results, contact the University of Idaho Library for assistance.
